Alicia has extensive experience in cases where Child Protective Services are involved. While aggressively representing clients, Alicia still strives to resolve matters in an amicable manner whenever possible, to better benefit the best interests of her clients.

    • Responsible for the preparation and trial of criminal cases and presentation of cases to Grand Jury. Over one hundred felony jury trials, ranging from capital murder to aggravated sexual assault to narcotics offenses and white collar crime. The majority of these cases were crimes against children, violent crimes, and drug cases. In addition to the prosecution of cases, duties included interviewing and training other prosecutors, representing the District Attorney’s Office at various public awareness/education events and in multi-jurisdictional task force operations, media relations and the supervision of several units within the District Attorney’s Office.
  • 1994 Intern, Angelina District Attorney’s Office, Angelina County Attorney’s Office, prepared and tried cases, engaged in extensive research and writing, interviewed victims, prepared briefs, and assisted in various criminal investigations while on a bar card.
